Relative and Absolute Dating

DoNow: An ivory mammoth tusk is claimed to be 17 thousand years old. Radiocarbon or carbon-14 dating will be used to verify the age. The halflife of carbon-14 is 5730 years. How many half-lives should have elapsed? What percent and fraction of carbon-14 should remain in the ivory tusk? (nat geo)
